SBS Self Help Retransmission Scheme

The Australian Government provides SBS with ongoing funding of $500,000 per annum to assist communities that wish to establish SBS self-help retransmission services. Under the Scheme, SBS will provide eligible communities with 100 percent of the costs a community incurs in establishing an analog SBS radio self-help service (up to a limit of $25,000 (including GST)). In the case of a community wishing to establish a self help radio service providing coverage to two towns or more, the limit increases to $50,000.
