Green Building Fund

The Green Building Fund is one of the three elements of the $240 million Clean Business Australia initiative. The other elements are the Climate Ready Program and the Re-Tooling for Climate Change program. The Green Building Fund initiative ($90m - over 4 years) will be designed to help Australian businesses implement cost saving energy efficiency measures through retrofitting and retro-commissioning of existing commercial office buildings. The program will also provide financial support to relevant industry associations and other non government organisations for building operator training and the development of energy operating and maintenance advisory guides.
